realme 16 Pro+ 5G vs HONOR 600 Pro in UAE (2026): Camera & Price Comparison
Miles Telecom ·
realme 16 Pro+ and HONOR 600 Pro both bring ambitious camera specifications, but their strongest arguments are not identical. realme explicitly documents a stabilised telephoto camera, while HONOR combines its camera package with Snapdragon 8 Elite.
For UAE buyers, this is best approached as a choice of tools rather than a contest of camera totals. Think about whether portraits from farther away, general performance or a smaller documented screen is the feature you will appreciate every week.

Specifications compared
| Specification | realme 16 Pro+ 5G | HONOR 600 Pro |
|---|---|---|
| Processor | Snapdragon 7 Gen 4 | Snapdragon 8 Elite |
| Rear Camera | 200MP OIS + 50MP OIS telephoto + 8MP ultra-wide | 200MP + 50MP + 12MP |
| Front Camera | 50MP | 50MP |
| Battery | 7000mAh | 7000mAh |
| Charging | 80W Ultra Charge | 80W Fast Charging |
Camera
The realme has a 200MP OIS main camera, 50MP OIS telephoto and 8MP ultra-wide. HONOR lists 200MP + 50MP + 12MP at the rear. Both list 50MP front cameras, but equal front-camera resolution does not establish equal autofocus, video features or results in dim restaurants.
Battery and charging
There is little separation in the headline power numbers: each lists 7000mAh and 80W charging. That makes battery capacity a poor reason to pay more for either model. Check the charger requirements for the exact purchase instead of assuming the matching wattage means identical charging behaviour.
Gaming performance
Snapdragon 7 Gen 4 is specified for realme; Snapdragon 8 Elite is listed for HONOR. These are different platforms, so buyers interested in demanding games should investigate their particular titles. HONOR's 6.57-inch 120Hz AMOLED is confirmed, but that refresh rate is not a guarantee of sustained game output.
Software support
HONOR lists Android 16 with MagicOS 10. The realme specifications reviewed here do not provide a verified multi-year update schedule. If you are switching from another Android brand, try the camera app and background-app controls, rather than assuming all Android interfaces behave alike.
Advantages
realme 16 Pro+ 5G
The strongest reason to shortlist realme 16 Pro+ 5G is that a specifically documented OIS telephoto camera is central to your photography. That dedicated optical zoom setup is the main draw here if long-range framing matters more to you than raw silicon muscle.
HONOR 600 Pro
The case for HONOR 600 Pro is clearest when you want the Snapdragon 8 Elite platform and the listed 6.57-inch AMOLED package. It delivers a higher tier of processing power alongside a distinct display footprint for users who prioritize everyday speed and responsiveness.
Disadvantages
realme 16 Pro+ 5G
The limitation of choosing realme 16 Pro+ 5G is the alternative you give up: you miss out on the Snapdragon 8 Elite tier and the compact 6.57-inch AMOLED footprint. If flagship silicon is your primary requirement, the realme's 7-series processor will not deliver the same ceiling under heavy workloads.
HONOR 600 Pro
The compromise with HONOR 600 Pro becomes clearer if realme's documented OIS telephoto setup is missing from your preferred shooting style. Evaluate whether you will miss having optical stabilisation on the telephoto shooter during everyday shooting.
Final buying verdict
Buy realme 16 Pro+ 5G if a specifically documented OIS telephoto camera is central to your photography. Buy HONOR 600 Pro if you want the Snapdragon 8 Elite platform and the listed 6.57-inch AMOLED package. Your choice comes down to whether you value telephoto framing precision or flagship-grade processing more.
For this realme 16 Pro+ 5G and HONOR 600 Pro decision, write down your essential apps, usual charging opportunities and preferred camera framing. Match those day-to-day requirements against the Snapdragon 7 Gen 4 zoom setup or the Snapdragon 8 Elite hardware. Verify SIM configurations and warranty coverage directly on the TDRA or retail packaging before completing your order.
