The vivo V50 Lite is aimed at buyers who care more about battery life and a large screen than flagship extras. It uses a 6500mAh battery with 90W fast charging and a 6.77-inch AMOLED display.

Main features

• 6.77-inch AMOLED display with up to 120Hz refresh rate
• MediaTek Dimensity 6300 processor
• 50MP main and 8MP rear cameras
• 32MP front camera
• 6500mAh battery and 90W fast charging
• IP65 dust and water resistance

Who is it for?

It is a sensible pick for students, delivery drivers, busy parents and anyone who uses maps, music and messaging throughout the day. The large display is comfortable for video, while 256GB storage leaves space for photos and apps.

What to keep in mind

The processor is designed for everyday use rather than heavy gaming at the highest settings. If performance is your top priority, compare it with a higher-tier phone before buying.

V50 Lite or V40?

Choose V50 Lite when battery and value matter most. Open the vivo V40 page if you want to compare another 12GB/256GB vivo model. Always check stock before ordering.

Availability matters more than the old price

Our V50 Lite and V40 listings are currently marked discontinued, not available to order. The figure above is the last available catalogue price, not an offer for stock we have today. Do not choose a phone based on that number alone. Browse current vivo phones for alternatives you can actually buy.

For the V40 12GB/256GB model, the last listed price is AED 1,500 (currently out of stock). This is also a discontinued listing. A V40, V40 Lite and V50 Lite are different devices; matching storage capacity does not make their cameras or processors equivalent.

Camera expectations

A 50MP main camera and a 32MP front camera describe the hardware, not guaranteed results in a dark room or with moving children. The V50 Lite also lists an 8MP secondary rear camera and Aura Light. If portraits are the deciding factor, look at examples from this exact 5G model rather than a similarly named V50 or V40 Lite.

Charging and software questions

90W is the listed charging capability, not a measured time from empty to full in this guide. Battery temperature and the charger used affect charging. The catalogue lists Android 15 with Funtouch OS 15; it does not establish a guaranteed future update schedule, so we do not promise one.

IP65 is not permission to swim with the phone. Treat it as a protection specification, not a reason to expose a device to water. With this model discontinued in our store, spending time comparing available replacements is more useful than chasing an old price.
