Revolutionary Features and Specifications

Open-Ear Audio

The FreeClip 2 is built around an open-ear listening experience that lets you enjoy audio without completely isolating yourself from your surroundings. Its 10.8mm dual-diaphragm driver is designed to deliver clear and powerful sound, while the 20Hz–20kHz frequency response range covers a broad spectrum for music, videos, podcasts, and calls.

The open-ear construction makes these earbuds particularly useful when you want entertainment and environmental awareness at the same time.

Performance and Controls

The earbuds combine multiple sensors, including an infrared sensor, Hall sensor, gyroscope/accelerometer, bone acoustic sensor, and touch sensor, to support intelligent interaction and reliable operation. You can double-tap to play or pause music or manage calls, triple-tap to skip to the next track, and swipe to adjust volume.

Huawei also provides customizable gesture controls through the HUAWEI Audio Connect app, allowing you to tailor supported controls to your preferences.

Call Quality and Audio Features

For calls, the FreeClip 2 incorporates call noise cancellation to help improve voice clarity in different environments. It also supports multi-EQ sound effects, including customizable sound effects, along with adaptive volume for a more convenient listening experience.

These features make the earbuds suitable not only for music but also for calls, online meetings, podcasts, and everyday communication.

Connectivity

The HUAWEI FreeClip 2 supports Bluetooth 6.0, providing a modern wireless connection between the earbuds and compatible devices. Pop-up pairing is supported on compatible Huawei phones and tablets running EMUI 10.0 or later.

Its dual-device connection allows the earbuds to remain connected to two devices simultaneously, making it easier to move between work and personal devices without repeatedly pairing them.

Battery and Charging

The earbuds provide up to 9 hours of music playback on a full charge, while the charging case extends total music playback to up to 38 hours. For calls, the earbuds can provide up to 6 hours on a full charge, with up to 25 hours when combined with the charging case.

The case supports USB Type-C wired charging as well as wireless charging up to 3W. A 10-minute fast charge can provide up to 3 hours of music playback, helping reduce charging downtime when you are in a hurry.

Water and Dust Resistance

The earbuds carry an IP57 rating, providing resistance against dust and water under normal conditions, while the charging case carries an IP54 rating. This makes the earbuds suitable for everyday activities and workouts, although they are not designed for swimming, showering, or high-pressure water exposure.
