Revolutionary Features and Specifications

Open-Ear Audio

The FreeClip 2 Special Edition is built around an open-ear listening experience, allowing you to enjoy audio while remaining more aware of your surroundings. Its acoustic architecture uses a powerful 10.8mm dual-diaphragm driver with a 20Hz–20kHz frequency response to deliver detailed sound with strong bass and clear highs.

The earbuds also feature adaptive volume and multi-EQ sound effects, while spatial audio with dynamic head tracking creates a more immersive listening experience across compatible content and devices.

Clear Calls and Smart Controls

For calls, the FreeClip 2 Special Edition incorporates call noise cancellation and multiple sensors, including infrared, Hall, gyroscope, accelerometer, bone acoustic, and touch sensors. These technologies help provide clearer communication while making interaction with the earbuds simple.

You can double-tap to play or pause music or answer/end calls, triple-tap to skip to the next track, and swipe to adjust the volume. Gestures can also be customized through the HUAWEI Audio Connect app.

Connectivity

With Bluetooth 6.0, the earbuds provide modern wireless connectivity for compatible devices. Dual-device connection allows you to stay connected to two devices at the same time, making it easier to switch between activities such as listening to music on a tablet and taking calls from your phone.

The open-ear design and automatic left/right recognition further enhance everyday convenience, allowing the earbuds to identify the correct side for audio playback.

Battery and Charging

Each earbud has a 60mAh battery, while the charging case features a 537mAh battery. A full charge provides up to 9 hours of music playback, while the charging case extends total music playback to 38 hours. For calls, the earbuds provide up to 6 hours of use, with up to 25 hours when combined with the fully charged case.

The case supports USB-C wired charging as well as wireless charging up to 3W. Huawei also states that a 10-minute charge can provide up to 3 hours of music playback, making quick top-ups convenient when you're short on time.

Durability

The earbuds carry an IP57 rating for dust and water resistance, while the charging case is rated IP54. This makes the earbuds suitable for everyday exposure to sweat, splashes, and dust, although they should not be used while swimming, showering, or in high-pressure water environments.
