Miles Telecom ·
Just got your first PS5? Start with games that teach you the controls without frustration.
Our beginner picks
- Astro Bot - free-to-learn controls and the best introduction to the DualSense. A free version, Astro's Playroom, is pre-installed on every PS5.
- Marvel's Spider-Man 2 - exciting and forgiving, with easy difficulty modes.
- Ratchet & Clank: Rift Apart - colourful action with accessibility options.
- Gran Turismo 7 - driving aids help new racers.
- Minecraft - no pressure, just build and explore.
- Ghost of Tsushima - has an easy mode for story lovers.
- EA Sports FC - assisted controls for new players.
Games to save for later
Elden Ring and similar "soulslike" games are rewarding but very hard. Try them once you're comfortable.
