Nothing Phone (4b) vs HONOR X7e Plus 5G in UAE (2026): Budget Phone Comparison
Miles Telecom ·
Nothing Phone (4b) is a design-led alternative to an HONOR with unusually large published battery capacity. Here the useful question is whether a Glyph Bar matters more than the X7e Plus’s large LCD and physical size.
For a Dubai buyer considering Nothing Phone (4b) against HONOR X7e Plus 5G, the right answer should follow the tasks that occupy most of the week. Focus on whether Nothing's light-based alerts and 4K recording matter more to you than HONOR's sheer power reserves and expansive 120Hz display.

Specifications compared
| Feature | Nothing Phone (4b) | HONOR X7e Plus 5G |
|---|---|---|
| Rear camera | 50MP main; 4K video | 50MP + Auxiliary |
| Software | Nothing OS with Essential AI tools | Android 16 with MagicOS 10 |
Camera
Nothing confirms a 50MP main camera and 4K video on the product page. HONOR lists 50MP plus an auxiliary camera and a 5MP front camera; that is not enough information to declare equal photo quality or compare selfie detail numerically.
For the Nothing Phone (4b) versus HONOR X7e Plus 5G camera decision, photograph the same person indoors and then a backlit outdoor scene. Nothing highlights 4K recording on its 50MP sensor, whereas HONOR supplements its 50MP camera with an auxiliary lens; natural skin tones, shadow clarity, and shutter response will reveal far more than matching megapixel labels.
Battery and charging
HONOR specifies 8100mAh with 45W SuperCharge. The verified Nothing page does not provide a comparable numerical battery specification in the fetched text, so no battery-capacity ranking is inferred for the 4b.
With Nothing Phone (4b) and HONOR X7e Plus 5G, plan charging around your actual day rather than the maximum wattage alone. Avoid recharging in direct sunlight or hot parked cars, and ensure you use a certified 45W-compatible adapter and cable to achieve HONOR's full SuperCharge rating.
Gaming performance
HONOR X7e Plus 5G lists Snapdragon 4 Gen 4, while the verified information available for Nothing Phone (4b) does not support a complete processor-to-processor judgement here. Because HONOR's entry-tier chip powers an HD+ 120Hz panel, verify how your preferred titles run rather than assuming performance based on refresh rate alone.
HONOR’s 6.87-inch panel is TFT LCD with HD+ resolution and 120Hz refresh. At 216.5g it deserves a pocket and grip check; a large battery is not a free ergonomic upgrade.
Software support
Nothing Phone (4b) lists Nothing OS with Essential AI tools; HONOR X7e Plus 5G lists Android 16 with MagicOS 10. Nothing prioritises minimal monochrome styling and custom Glyph lighting, while HONOR provides a feature-dense MagicOS 10 skin over Android 16. Neither brand provides a verified update-year commitment in these specifications, so base your decision on current interface comfort.
Advantages
Nothing Phone (4b)
Nothing Phone (4b) is most compelling when your priority is the colourful unibody and Glyph Bar. Its visual identity, cleaner software approach, and confirmed 4K capture give it a clear appeal for buyers who want personality over sheer hardware bulk.
HONOR X7e Plus 5G
HONOR X7e Plus 5G deserves attention if you value an explicitly specified 8100mAh battery. That enormous power pack offers days of runtime between charges, provided you are content carrying a 216.5g chassis with an HD+ LCD.
Disadvantages
Nothing Phone (4b)
The compromise with Nothing Phone (4b) is that its strengths do not settle the whole comparison. If an explicitly specified 8100mAh battery matters more to you, the alternative warrants a closer look before paying for features that will sit unused.
HONOR X7e Plus 5G
The limitation of choosing HONOR X7e Plus 5G by headline alone is overlooking the colourful unibody and Glyph Bar. If pocket comfort and unique notification hardware matter to your daily routine, Nothing's lighter design philosophy may prove more practical.
Final buying verdict
Buy Nothing Phone (4b) if you want the colourful unibody and Glyph Bar. Buy HONOR X7e Plus 5G if you prefer an explicitly specified 8100mAh battery. Your choice comes down to distinctive design ergonomics and 4K recording on one side, versus massive battery endurance and expansive screen real estate on the other.
Before making the final Nothing Phone (4b) or HONOR X7e Plus 5G decision, confirm the exact model designation and local configuration. Verify that your chosen unit carries official TDRA compliance and confirm with your retailer whether your carrier setup requires physical dual nano-SIM or specific regional network bands.
