Camera
POCO lists a 200MP main, 50MP floating telephoto and 8MP ultra-wide, with OIS on the first two. The Nord has a 50MP stabilised main and 8MP ultra-wide, making the POCO’s telephoto a practical distinction beyond gaming.
The 200MP sensor on the POCO provides extra cropping flexibility alongside its 50MP zoom lens, while the Nord 6 keeps its dual-camera array focused on a 50MP primary sensor and autofocus on its front camera. Evaluating skin tone rendering and dynamic contrast under bright overhead sun matters far more than sensor megapixel totals.
Battery and charging
The Nord’s 7500mAh exceeds the F9 Pro’s 6330mAh typical capacity. POCO counters with 100W wired and 50W wireless charging, whereas OnePlus specifies 80W wired; charging convenience and stored capacity point in different directions.
Fast charging at 80W on the Nord or 100W on the POCO produces substantial thermal load, so avoid charging on car dashboards or in unshaded areas during summer heat, and confirm you have an official high-wattage power adapter to reach those maximum speeds.
Gaming performance
The processor comparison is Snapdragon 8s Gen 4 in OnePlus Nord 6 against Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5, V series in POCO F9 Pro. The Snapdragon 8s Gen 4 in the Nord 6 and the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 in the F9 Pro both cater to demanding mobile titles, though sustained frame rates also depend on thermal control and game optimisation during long play sessions.
POCO names a VisionBoost D8 graphics chipset, with game and software limitations. That is not equivalent to every game running at its panel ceiling, so check your actual titles before paying for the higher refresh specification.
Software support
OnePlus Nord 6 lists OxygenOS 16 based on Android 16; POCO F9 Pro lists Xiaomi HyperOS 3. The software experience divides between OxygenOS 16 on the Nord 6 and Xiaomi HyperOS 3 on the POCO F9 Pro, each presenting distinct notification handling, multitasking layouts, and system customisation options.
Advantages
OnePlus Nord 6
The OnePlus Nord 6 stands out for users who need prolonged endurance from its large 7500mAh battery and prefer an expansive 6.78-inch viewing area for media and gaming.
POCO F9 Pro
The POCO F9 Pro makes a stronger case for users seeking a faster 185Hz display, 50W wireless charging convenience, and the versatile framing of an added 50MP telephoto camera.
Disadvantages
OnePlus Nord 6
Choosing the Nord 6 means missing out on wireless charging, a dedicated optical telephoto camera, and the faster 185Hz refresh ceiling available on the POCO.
POCO F9 Pro
Opting for the F9 Pro means accepting a smaller 6330mAh battery capacity and a slightly more compact 6.59-inch screen compared to the Nord 6.
Final buying verdict
Buy OnePlus Nord 6 if you want maximum battery capacity at 7500mAh and a larger display footprint. Buy POCO F9 Pro if you prefer 50W wireless charging, a versatile 200MP and telephoto camera system, and a 185Hz refresh rate.
